**City of Rockville Tree Work in Fallsmead**The City of Rockville will be doing some extensive tree work in our neighborhood. According to Wayne Noll, the City Forester, many of the pin oaks in the Fallsmead community are dead and or dying due to a disease called Bacterial Leaf Scorch. The City Forester will be identifying trees that need to be removed within the next couple of weeks and expects to begin removals in late June or early July. After the trees are marked and right before they are removed, residents will be notified with a door hanger, to inform them as to what is taking place.
Should you have any questions regarding the matter, or would like more information, feel free to contact Dwayne Jenkins, Neighborhood Resource Coordinator at djenkins@rockvillemd.gov or by phone at 240-314-8343 or Mr. Noll directly at wnoll@rockvillemd.gov or by phone at 240-314- 8705.
