The crown jewel of our neighborhood is Fallsmead Park. Fallsmead Park is a centrally located, seventeen-acre private park that includes a pond, an extensive network of paved paths and wooded trails, meadows, and a level, grassy playing field. Fallsmead Park is also home to the community's swimming pool, tennis/racket sports courts, playground, and basketball hoop. Throughout the park, you can find picnic tables and benches for picnics or just lounging around and enjoying the scenery and wildlife. 

 

Our community pool is located at 1824 Greenplace Terrace. Our pool is a competition length 25 meter pool with 6 swimming lanes, a diving well, and shallow and deeper areas for play for all ages. It includes a graduated beach entrance, a mushroom fountain, and several other fountains. We also have a full wading pool for kids five years and younger. The pool season runs from Memorial Day weekend through just after Labor Day. The pool is available to Fallsmead residents for private parties for a fee. The Fallsmead swim team (Fallsmead Sharks) is a member of the Montgomery County Swim League, and provides a wonderful social and recreational opportunity for the children. For additional pool information, please click on the Pool page, or use the Pool link on the Contact Us page to contact the Pool Committee directly.

 

 

Fallsmead’s playground is located in Fallsmead Park just behind the swimming pool complex at 1824 Greenplace Terrace. It was fully renovated in 2013, and is a great place for the kids to play and run around. The playground is open to Fallsmead residents from dawn to dusk. 

Tennis/Pickleball Courts                                           

 

​Fallsmead is home to two regulation-sized tennis/pickleball courts located next to the pool complex at 1824 Greenplace Terrace. Terrace. Court 1 may be used only for tennis. Courts 2A and 2B may be used individually for pickleball or together for tennis. The courts must be reserved for each use by a Fallsmead Resident. Fallsmead Residents of all ages and skill levels are welcome to play tennis and pickleball on our courts.
